We learning about financial literacy

 For my history of money project I brought some old coins to school. 

                      

In class we earned class dollars for working well or taking responsibility. 

In our inquiry groups we decided what we were going make and sell at Market day.

    We surveyed another class and used information to make decisions about our product.

Performical 2014

                                                                                     We were waiting in class,  quietly playing Kinex.   We were making amazing things, like weapon gloves and machine guns. I was wating nervously.   When I got called up onto the stage I heard the music start and I was counting in my head to get the right beat.  I started  shaking my instrument like mad,  in time to the music.  At the end of our song I looked up towards the people watching and was surprised by how many people were there.   I quietly  ran and put my instrument in the box and then we sang and sang our song "Yesterday".  As we walked off the stage I was relieved that it was the end.  We were playing in the cage, at the back of the hall,   wating for the whole school song. I was looking forward to singing the last song.   We all made our way back onto the wooden stage for "just One Earth". We all sang amazingly. At the end I was surprised that I didn't run off the stage because I was so happy it was over.  Instead I walked in line out of the hall and back to the classroom to wait for my mum.

The boy was watching TV with his dad. He went to his white bedroom and read a book. His bedroom was square. He was reading on a 3 legged stool. He looked like he was 8 years old. They were watching the sunset go down with hills in the background. Huis bedroom was made out of stone, it was hard. He went back to his room. The boy was reading a book about butterflies . Then suddenly all these colourful butterflies came out of a square book. The butterflies had fragile wings. The room started to go blue. At the start he thought reading was dumb. At the end he found out reading was powerful. Instead of watching TV he kept  Reading his wonderful book.

I can put fractions on a number line by my self 

I can use splits to subtract numbers by my self 

I can take away bigger numbers too. I did it by myself.

I took of ten off and used splits to take away the ones.

Landfill trip

  landfill trip with room 9 and 8

it was Friday .Room9 and room8 are going to the landfill. When the bell gowes we are going to hop on a bus I sat next to Harrison. We saw a crane drope a big bloke of concrete .When we got there we saw what you can recicle and can't recicle .after that we went to see hills of rubish and tholl  Were a big truck comes and pices up rubish to the landfill . We Had morning tea and then we hoped back on the bus . To go to the landfill when we got there we hat to but on a hives.And then  we hop off the bus and sat  down on the grass. And Angela talked to us.Then we hoped back on the bus and went to heapes of rubish it looked like my brothers bed .

For science we have learnt about 

surface tension. When we put the detergent in the milk with food colouring it broke the surface tension and mixed the colours.

Trianasawass 

,Watch out yallped ,dad. As I taernd around I saw a trianasawass it was coming at fall speed like a balltosa .  I screamed i ran like a cheter runing away like a skedy cat. we were in a forest just as, dad had ame with a soot gun me  .And a transawass got sucked up a brown holle like   time tralving back two million years.

The jet sprints

I whent to the jet sprints on Sunday . I wun tickits when I sold plant food. We were their for ages I was relly hot their was relly fast and they crashed . When they crashed a rescue team came and pushed them into the water. On the last race they whent around the track and the last guy hit the bank and did a flip and landed into the water
